
Congratulations Dan and Nia on your wedding today. This vintage inspired birdcage wedding cake was a new and different challenge. The bottom tier was a luscious lemon cake with lemon curd buttercream and coated in lemon flavoured white chocolate ganache. Then there was a spiced carrot cake with spiced rum and orange buttercream, which was coated in orange white chocolate ganache. The next tier was a rich brandy laced fruit cake and the top tier was a dummy cake (because the bride wanted it as a keepsake). I also made a little fruit cake for the couple to cut and enjoy on the night. I hope you like it.
